Hi predocs!
the purpose of this blog is to provide useful information from personal experience to all SAO predocs at the CfA (and visiting students at the CfA as well) and it is meant to be an online resource where predocs can write about their experience as SAO fellows... the site is therefore handled by predocs for predocs. if you have any questions, from how to find a house to how to take advantage of SAO/Harvard facilities you should post it here, and whoever has the answer, or knows where to get it, should post that!
if you want to be a regular collaborator, send an email to predocs@gmail.com and you will get an invitation to start new topics.
note that all information comes without warranty: that is if you are asking a question about sensitive topics such as taxes or visa issues do not just take the first answer you get and go with it: always double check with our coordinator christine crowley or your division administrator!
also, it goes without saying, but we have to say it anyway: refrain from expression personal opinions about people, especially if the opinion is not flattering, and remember that ANYBODY can read this page.
